[9] A Child’s Oath

The boy rushed to his father while smiling and he said, “Papa! I found her! The girl I’m going marry!”

The father laughed, “Really?”

“Yeah!” he pointed his finger to where the girl was. “One day, I’m going to court and marry her! Just like you and Mama!”

The girl looked at his direction and waved her hand. She smiled which made the boy’s heart race.

From that moment, the gears are already set in motion.
