[17] Within Her

“Who are you?” the little girl asked.

She was taken aback by the little girl’s question.

“What do you mean by who I am?” She laughed awkwardly. She knew exactly what it meant.

“You are not me anymore,” the little girl murmured.

“What?”

“You are me. I am you. But you’re not like me anymore. You’re different.”

“Different?”

The little girl nodded and looked straight into her eyes.

“You changed.”
